Prosecuting Attorney

Job Description:

Under the direction and supervision of the City Administrator performs professional legal work including prosecuting criminal cases of city ordinance violations and misdemeanors adopted under the municipal code. Works with the City in collecting and categorizing evidence necessary to prosecute cases.

Hourly Rate:                                       $40.00 Depending on qualifications
 
Hours /Week:                                     8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday and On-Call

Dental Insurance:                               Delta Dental with 20% Employee Co-Pay
 
Life Insurance:                                    $20,000 Term Life Insurance Policy
 
Deferred Contribution Plan:             10% 457B Employer Compensation Contribution
 
Holidays:                                             14 Paid City Recognized Holidays
 
Vacation Days:                                   15 Paid Vacation Days (120 Hours) annually to be accrued monthly (10 hours) with 5 Paid Vacation Days (40 hours) banked at hire, total bank limit (240 hours)
 
Sick Leave:                                          12 Paid Sick Days (96 Hours) annually to be accrued monthly (8 hours) with 5 Paid Sick Days (40 hours) banked at hire, total bank limit (240 hours)
 
Clothing Allowance:                          $400.00 Annually in July
 
Longevity:                                          Eligible: Paid Annually November 1
 
Status:                                                Full Time; Non-Exempt (Hourly), At-Will
 

Job Compensation

$40 per hour (Full-time with standard benefit package)
