Department Responsibilities: The
Human Resources Department oversees the employment process,
including the recruitment, application, selection and
orientation of new employees. The department assists in the
training, evaluation and promotion of existing employees. It
participates in negotiations and day to day administration of
employee contracts; administers employee and retiree insurance
and benefit plans, and ensures compliance with applicable
federal, state and local laws.
